Snew Bio

SNEW got it's start November 2005 in Hollywood, CA, with Curtis, Andy, Cat and Mark all meeting through common ties, mutual friends and unseen mystical forces. The name? SNEW? It's a mystery, conundrum, a hieroglyph on a pyramid wall, it's best just not to ask. For a definition of Snew's sound, how and why they do what they do, let it be said; bands like AC/DC, Motörhead, The Stooges, The Ramones, Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin and Kiss perfected raw electrified monster rock and roll and the members of Snew took notes.

Snew's debut album, released independently June 2008, entitled "Snew You" was named one of the Top Ten hard rock albums of 2008 by SleazeRoxx.com and has continued to receive high praise from critics, DJs and fans worldwide. Snew's 2010 album "We Do What We Want" was produced by acclaimed producer, recording guide author and all around musical guru Bobby Owsinski (he also produced Snew You) and was engineered and mixed by the Grammy Award winning Ed Cherney (Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Iggy Pop, Bob Dylan, AC/DC, Spinal Tap) and recorded at the world renowned Village Recorder in Los Angeles. It's Snew round II baby.

Everybody MUST get SNEWED.
